Tatiana Nova is an award-winning jazz vocalist and composer whose voice is often described by critics as reminiscent of Flora Purim and Norah Jones. Born in Moscow in 1995, she relocated to Germany at 19, securing one of two coveted spots at the University of Music in Dresden. Under the mentorship of Céline Rudolph, Tatiana immersed herself in diverse projects, joined the German National Jazz Orchestra and released her debut EP, "PLANETA." In 2020, she was invited to the esteemed "Focusyear Basel" jazz program led by ECM recording artist and jazz guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel. Throughout her studies, she shared the stage with jazz luminaries like Lionel Loueke, Miguel Zenón, Ingrid Jensen, Kurt Rosenwinkel and others. After earning a master's degree in jazz pedagogy from the Music Academy in Basel, Nova relocated to Berlin, and started imparting her knowledge as a jazz voice lecturer at the Dresden University of Music. Tatiana collaborates with renowned musicians across Europe, and she actively leads a duo project with the accomplished pianist Julia Perminova. Their debut album is slated for release in 2024.
Guillermo Klein, a versatile artist hailing from Argentina, is a composer, arranger, pianist, and occasional singer. Inspired by Astor Piazzolla, he started crafting music in his youth, later exploring jazz at Berklee College of Music. His journey led to the formation of the Big Van ensemble, later known as Los Guachos. Klein, a fixture at Smalls in NYC, transitioned to a more compact 11-piece unit. With residencies at Smalls and the Jazz Standard, Los Guachos released acclaimed albums on Sunnyside Records. Klein, back in Argentina since 2000, continues to make music, collaborating with local artists and producing celebrated albums like "Live in Barcelona," "Filtros," and "Carrera." His significant contributions extend to works like the Solar Return Suite, Domador de Huellas, and Bienestan. Besides his musical pursuits, Klein, a respected figure in jazz, collaborates with notable musicians and shares his knowledge through teaching and master classes across Europe.
